An update on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Dear friends and neighbors, we hope this message finds you, your families, and loved ones well as the unprecedented Coronavirus impacts our community. In accordance with Mayor de Blasio’s mandate, we are announcing that beginning Tuesday, March 17, we will be preparing food for delivery and pick-up only.
Our little family here at Vietspot is dedicated to providing the fast casual, Vietnamese food experience to the local community in a safe and cleanly manner. In that spirit we are reaching out to share the actions Vietspot is taking to keep our food and restaurant safe and clean for you, our store associates, and community at large.
We are cleaning high touch areas and kitchen equipment in our restaurant with disinfectant throughout the day, every day.
We have updated our staff on illness prevention procedures, including proper hand washing guidelines. Our restaurant has always been strict about the use of gloves when dealing with food and will continue to do so. We are instructing associates who are exhibiting symptoms of illness to stay home or seek care from a medical provider when necessary.
With a heavy heart, we announced the closing of the Tribeca location last week. On the bright side, this will free up resources to ensure that our customers are receiving the best quality and service at our original Fidi location.
We will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation, following the guidance of the CDC and our local municipalities. The health and safety of our customers and associates is and will remain our highest priority.
Vietspot has always been an independently run local business that depends on the local community to keep the lights on. We take great pride in this fact, but if there is anything we’ve learned from 5 years of being in business, it is that the people of New York are strong and resilient. We could not have picked a better location to call our home and a better customer base to call our family.
Thank you for being a loyal customer!
