Vietspot is a fast casual concept serving Vietnamese comfort food. Freshly made everyday with a lot of vegetables and flavorful meat, the first location was open in 2015 in Financial district, the second location was open in 2018 in Tribeca.
The two founders of Vietspot are Sophie Nguyen and Anthony Ruan.
Sophie grew up and lived in Vietnam until her twenties. She moved to Korea and then the US to work as a biomedical scientist. She found Vietspot in order to serve up food that she would eat everyday to the hard working professionals in downtown Manhattan.
Anthony was a chemical engineer in China. He also moved to the US in his twenties and soon after discovered Vietnamese food. Anthony met Sophie when he started to work for Vietspot so he can eat the food everyday while earning his degree in computer science. He got the degree but stayed to become a partner in the business he loves.
